Student Ministries

At UPSIDE DOWN Middle & High School Ministry, we understand that for students, there are two kingdoms that are trying to co-exist - but there is only room for one. Living in God's kingdom means living in an “upside down world.” We also believe that students are not the future of the church, but it’s present. Each person is valuable to God, and that no matter what you look like, talk like, or dress like, you have a place here, because in Jesus we are one.

Our teaching isn't focused on hot topics or pressure-packed agendas—it’s all a part of something deeper, where a deep theology meets practical needs. All of our teaching falls under one of these three areas, which are the core elements of the Christian faith:

  • WONDER: I am created to pursue an authentic relationship with my Creator.
  • DISCOVERY: I belong to Jesus Christ and define who I am by what He says.
  • PASSION: I exist every day to demonstrate God’s love to a broken world.

Because students connect with their parents differently than children, we've provided special cues for parents and teens to have discussions with one another about what’s being discussed at UPSIDE DOWN.

Outside of Sundays and Wednesdays, UPSIDE DOWN offers a wide variety of events, such as retreats, mission trips, movie nights, and other fun stuff – all focused on two things: growing in relationship with God and with others.
